The detail: Get free fish & chips worth around £5.50 when you buy any hot drink (prices start from £1.90). The voucher can only be used on the following Fridays: 13, 20, 27 Jan and 3, 10 Feb 2012.

There are five other deals on the same voucher, but the stand-out offer is free fish and chips. The other deals include:

• 2for1 hot meals (usually £5ish)
• 2for1 soup (£2.50ish)
• 2for1 jacket potatoes (£3.50ish)
• 2for1 sandwiches/paninis (£3ish)
• 2for1 desserts (£2ish)

The offers all have different T&Cs, so check the vouchers before redeeming. Restrictions: Fridays only. Excludes the following branches: Merry Hill, Bolton, Uxbridge and Basildon. Not valid in BHS Coffee Lounges, Caf! Express or To Go's. Can't be used with any other voucher or discount. A hot drink must be bought to get the deal.

That's Friday's lunch sorted then thanks op, it says under condition 3. Ask instore for alternative free meal. I wonder if that is the vegetarian option? Does anyone know what the alternative meal is?

Thanks! Even tempted to take a friday off and treat the mrs :P - If I used one and the mrs used one, would this be allowed? like if we queued separately?

They put these vouchers in my parcel when I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago but it was too early to use them. Thanks for the reminder OP.

Thanks for posting, a good offer.

We had a cappuccino and scone at BHS a week ago. The drink was served in very wide cups and was cold. The scone was at least a week old, hard as a brick, and we should have complained.

My husband and I have had this offer before. There was such a demand we had to wait in a small queue but the fish was huge and both were fresh and filled the plate. Got a pot of tea after I had been served so everything was piping hot. A great offer!

I have printed this for my elderly mum and her friend . However it does say in condition 7 that photocopies will not be accepted, are these printed vouchers really valid as I would hate my mum to be embarressed at the till?

YAY!!! I have a parcel to pick up from BHS anyway so will 'treat' my daughter to fish and chips on the Friday
