Anyone having problems with flowersdirect

I ordered from this company for the first time two days ago. I ordered a large bouquet to be delivered today for valentines day. At midday I received a missed call on my mobile with no message left. I googled the number and found it was this company and tried to return the call on the original number. No joy after 10mins so I rang the 0871 number on their website and got an answer.
The answer was that they had no idea why someone from their co. had rung me but would check it out. After 10mins of hanging on they returned to tell me my order was not going to be delivered due to overwhelming demand on their courier services because of Valentines day. That was it! I said how disappointed I was and then the rep said 'hang on, someone is now saying its in the depot and hasnt gone out for delivery yet, another 5mins of waiting only to be told that they were still looking into it.......After another few mins I was still none the wiser and asked them to call me back....I am still waiting.....
I am absolutely livid!!! Firstly that they didnt have the decency to leave me the message that my order wasnt going to be delivered and secondly because it looks to my wife that I couldnt be bothered to get her anything! Oh and the fact that they were prepared to keep me hanging on a premium rate number for nearly 20mins is loathsome.
Has anyone else had problems today? I will not be making another order with these jokers if they don't deliver today. Shocking experience.
Any advice on what I should do?

heres an update-
Just been called back to say that my order is not going to be fulfilled. They apologised but thats it. Apparently to quote the rep 'loads of customers orders are not going to be delivered today' OH GREAT THAT REALLY MADE ME FEEL BETTER. CAVEAT EMPTOR PEOPLE. ( I am sure I will have a deluge of reaction from people who have had no problems with this company, but please spare me the sermons. I will not use them again thats for sure.)Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.
