Hi there!
I am new to this so please be patient as I ask a couple of daft questions
I have gone for this -
Life of Pi
http://www.showfilmfirst.com/pin/744394
2/12 10:30
At Lincoln Odeon
I have printed out the ticket that admits 2 people as the site dictated. Is that all I have to do to get the free tickets please?
I also used my mother in law's email address to register & print out two more as it will be a real treat for my in laws as they don't get out much and I can drive them to the viewing.
Is that all I have to do to get to see the film for free please?
Any help advice appreciated folks!
:heartpuls Gains & £'s saved..Far too many to mention! Needless to say I LOVE MSE! :heartpuls

You've got a treat in store, this film looks like it will be stunning if the trailer is anything to go by
You always need to get there before the film is due to start. Often people arrive around 30 minutes or more and will be told to queue at the cinema. Staff will advise if that is the case.
Do not take the print out to the Box office as it is an advance screening, it will not be on the system. Instead go to the people who take the tickets and they will advise you of the screen you to go to.
Life of Pi is in 3D, you will be given the glasses, keep them in case you need them for a paid for film. Saves money.koolkatsaffi wrote: »Hi there!

Thanks for the reply and the advice poochface
I have just viewed the trailer & you are right - it DOES look amazing!
Off to pop & see the in laws in a minute so I can give them the good news. I was hoping it was in 3D as they have never seen a 3D film so they will love it!
I read the book a long time ago & it is a fabulous story
So excited! :j
Thanks again! :T

You're very welcome, as there will be four of you, I do advise you to get there as early as you can manage to ensure you all get to sit together.
I'm really excited about this film. I am glued to the trailer when it is shown. I love Tigers and throw in a few Meerkats and I'm ecstatic lol :jkoolkatsaffi wrote: »Thanks for the reply and the advice poochface

Saw Rise of the Guardians yesterday at Manchester (Virgin Rewards) very enjoyed it, however I was very surprised that the screen was only about 60% full, when the screen were fully booked around 8am when my friend tried to get some tickets for her kids.
I went to a few previews in Manchester, hardly any screen were full, but the tickets were always gone within mintues. I was very disappinted that there were a few Life of Pi previews around for different dates however all the tickets for Manchester were gones within mintues. If anyone have tickets that they couldn't go (especially in Manchester area) please cancel the tickets and give the opportunity to other who want to go, rather than wasted the tickets.
Thank you for your help in advance.0 -
The amount of tickets issued don't always equate to the amount of seats in the screenroom.
For instance 100 tickets might be issued but the room might hold 130. Therefore it looks like 30 no shows plus any genuine no shows.Saw Rise of the Guardians yesterday at Manchester (Virgin Rewards) very enjoyed it, however I was very surprised that the screen was only about 60% full, when the screen were fully booked around 8am when my friend tried to get some tickets for her kids.

Just managed to grab two tickets for tonight's Great Expectations. :j
Must have been a cancellation. As soon as I got those tickets, the cinema we're going to, showed as Not Available.0 -

I managed to get 1 for Greenwich on the 2nd December at about 2:30pm, (albeit it being the last one available, sorry!) so it might depend on how often you check up in case additional tickets are added!
