I used to get looooooooooads freebies when I lived at my old address

A week never went past without several freebies posted through my letterbox - specific ones I remember was a woman coming to our backdoor and asking me if I would try some chocolate - she left me 3 bars wrapped only in silver foil and said she would call tomorrow to get my feedback - the chocolate was none other than "Yorkie" bars when they only used to make plain chocolate ones - the 'new' flavours she gave me to try were one with peanuts, one with raisins and cant member the other (didn't make the shelf)

other time a guy walked up my drive and asked me if I would like to test drive "the new" Ford Mondeo - I said "no I'm too busy" - but he said OK, I only asked you because you have a Ford Sierra and I'll give you £50 to try it - I changed my mind - took "The Brand" New Mondeo" for a spin the following Sunday morning - he had a switch under the dash which changed the performance and asked me which I preferred
