What Freebies Have You Received Today?

I am getting a free cushion from tesco as I've asked for them to reserve it a couple of times due to none being in stock and I have moc for it. I was told as I had so much trouble and I was patient they are going to send me the cushion on them.

I wasnt happy when I read the packaging, though. It says: "Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Dispose of contents/container to appropriate local waste system". I don't think I will be using the sample because of this. I dont really want to ruin the environment just so my clothes can smell extra flower-y...

I read that as well - and immediately binned the sample. In this day and age of environment awareness I was more than a little suprised!

I didn't read that info, but did use a bit of the sample and it deffo works, I shant be buying any if that's the case.

I got 10 colouring pens and £10 worth of fruit and veg from the sun.

I suppose that it is precisely because of awareness of environmental issues that P&G are including that statement. It is probably commendable honesty on their part.

Unless one uses laundry products with verifiable ecological pedigrees then perhaps all the regular detergents and fabric softeners from all manufacturers are likely to contain similar chemicals which have the potential to harm marine life.

Lenor unstoppables sample but, unlike others on here, I didn't read the bit about it possibly being harmful to the environment. Now undecided whether to use it!

Excellent day for freebies today - Halfords car wash kit (bucket, sponge & shampoo - O2), WHS felt pens (O2), Hunk bottle of coke (Boots). Also went out & picked blackberries & wild plums

It simply means don't pour contents into your fish tank surely? Dispose of it in the bin. All stuff like this is harmful to fish. Like bleach and other stuff, its toxic to fish.
