    In my case, I refuse to pay for a freebie ;). So it must have been returned to the sender.

    It must have been the thickness, Smeeth. A letter can be up to 100g in weight, but it musn't be over 5 mm in thickness.
    Here's the info. I would contact the senders, as it's a really bad PR error on their part.

    Thanks for the link Mcculloch, but it's no more than 3mm thick in my case. I'll definitely be contacting them!

    A bag full of Clarins samples from Debenhams after I made a complaint to them about their absolutely disgraceful (lack of) customer service. A free brew for two at Bents Garden Centre courtesy of an email from them and an email telling me I have been successful in the World Book Night big giveaway. Oh and some glucosamine tablets.
