I'll never forget mine. I still keep thinking I see him sometimes, out of the corner of my eye. He was so quiet, you'd forget he was there until he started shuffling (he was dark brindle, and blended into my leather sofa).

I don't think I'll have another dog. Its too hard when they go.

Huge sympathies to you.
It's horrible when animals go before their time in accidents. I lost a dog this way as a kid - over 40 years ago- and every January 3rd I think of him and wonder about the times we should have had together.
I wouldn't have an un-neutered dog again, he died crossing a busy main road to get at a b.i. *ch in heat. Back then male & female dogs were rarely 'fixed'.
I'm so pleased you plan to get another cat, the right one will be there for you when it's time.

Rightyo, on topic I did get the BB sachets today. They were stuck down very firmly, so if they weren't in the card, they didn't drop out, but WERE nicked. Unless a machine did it...

I subscribe to this but mine didn't arrive last Friday and still hasn't. I've just emailed the subs dept.
It is a really good magazine so I'm a bit hacked off, I enjoy my Friday-night read and catch up of the week's events.
