in Cutting tax
Hello all,
I wonder if you could help me. I have been in the same job same employer for 2 years in April - recently I hace noticed my tax code has changed to 735L NONCU - I have only noticed this this month - when I picked up my last two months payslips.
what does NONCU mean for me? Paid 2538.33 (taxable 2373.34) Taxed 352.00
Am I going to owe the taxman some £'s?
This may help - Gross 25246.34 - Taxable 23605.34 - Tax paid 3477.00
Can anyone help me make some sense out of this NONCU please?
Thanks muchly!

a normal taxcode code would be 747L and be cumulative
if the figures posted above include you January pay then the tax is about correct
prior to the change in code what was your taxcode?0 -
Thank you Clapton.

tax is all about detail
but unless there have been significant changes in your employment situation noncum is incorrect
i would suggest you speak to your payroll people and ask why they changed it ; it could just be a mistake
if that doesn't resolve it then speak to HMRC and explain the situation
661L was a non standard tax code for last year ; do you know why that was?0
