A quick question, has anyone who is not an Australian or from New Zealand had a response from any of the ads that Australasian Recruitment Agency have placed on numerous websites?

Yup, applied to one and had a reply years ago saying I needed to have my visa sorted before I could talk to them.0

Thats what I thought but is that not discriminating? espcially when they advertise the same roles on gumtree
They should say when they are advertising, as I do think its quite rude even of agencies to advertise and then not even send out a curteous email to say thanks, Yes I know they get thousands of cvs etc a day but you can always have rules set up on most email accounts.
Maybe companies will realise this and stop using them (one only hopes)

You obviously haven't been applying for jobs in the past few years, this is the norm nowadays, I am surprised when I get any sort of response, even an automated one, and if employers who are advertising their own vacancies can't be bothered to respond you can be sure than an agency won't.0
