  • Yes my Cockpot can be used on the hob, I always start things of that way and then put it in the heated unit. It's got no branding on it other than Crackpot, it's a large oval one that came from Costco if that helps.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Ahhhhh yes the wonders of early morning phone typing and auto correct!

Hehehehehe! That gave me a chuckle too!
I have a crockpot as well, it came with a little metal rack thingy to put between the pot and the hob. It works a treat.

I think mine came from Argos, but it was a Christmas pressie so I haven't looked. It was a couple of years ago now though.

    Here it is: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4264062/c_1/1|category_root|Kitchen+and+laundry|14418476/Trail/searchtext%3ESLOW+COOKER.htm
Not the cheapest, but it is good.
