Wow, that's flown by Broxie, good to hear from you again.
Just been watching Superscrimpers on TV and there were some great budget recipes tonight which I think are on their website. Why not pop over to the Old Style board to see about other ways of cutting back so you can put a bit by for the odd treat? I know I saved quite a bit of money last year by growing my own veg, two 4ftx4ft raised beds and a few pots produced more than enough just for me using the Square Foot Gardening method. Even if you only have a small amount of space or a few pots, just think of the veg you eat most and grow those - great fun for the kids too! When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Well done on your discharge broxie, my fellow Scot - it's a good feeling to see it on the roi site as discharged by process of law.
If you have an IPA then I don't think much changes at this stage, but I would definitely have a look at the Old Style boards to see about saving some money off your weekly shop etc.Feb 2024:

Don't forget you can get a certificate of discharge from the AiB - think it still costs £11 - just in case you need to prove it.0
