Hello All,
Anyone got any ideas how to make a sweet tree?
I'm wanting to make these myself as table centres at my wedding and then name the tables of whichever retro sweets I've made the tree of.
I bought a polystyrene ball but not sure if an Oasis ball would be better.
Thank you :j

use lollies and stick them in and use toothpicks to secure in other sweets such as ferro roche
you can use royal icing for the harder to attach sweets
do you have the sweets chosen already as that would be better to know exactly what you wanna attachThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Thanks for your help, the sweets I've been thinking about are;
1. Bassetts Allsorts
2. Flying Saucers
3. Marshmallows
4. Mushrooms
5. Haribo
6. Sour Belt sweets
7. Milk bottle sweets
8. Coconut rolls
9. Liquorice swirls
10. Jelly Hearts
11. Chupa Lolly
12. Rolo
13. Fried Egg
14. Fizzy Cola bottles
15. Jelly Babies
16. Black Jacks
17. Refresher Bars
18. Fruit Salad
I thought maybe cocktail sticks but unsure of what to stick them into.0 -
I make these hun and i use a polystyrene ball,i wouldnt use toothpicks in case u have any kiddies at the wedding and they !!!!! themselves on them better to use icing or white choc melted.you will want some wooden dowel aswell and i use air drying clay to put in the pot but u can use plaster of paris aslong as the pot doesnt have a hole in the bottom HTH0
