We got one of these sets for DS1 for Christmas and just bought another as a birthday present. Excellent value and a great starter set. It has been this price for a few months now (or thereabouts).0

So all that "Price: £29.99 / Sale: £12.48 / You Save: £17.51 (58%)" is all just a lie by amazon?
I have bought one anyway as they look nice, but I hate being lied to about the RRPs by companies.0 -

On the shopping part of this site there is
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cheap-amazon-loopholes
which has this tool listed to track past prices it is great, I used it alot over Christmas and discovered that not all bargains are as good as they seem
In part 3. Track past Amazon prices

What I meant was, if it was never actually sold anywhere for £29.99 how are you 'saving £17.51'? Who decides it was ever worth £29.99 if it has always been sold for about £12?how is it a lie? bevause Amazon generally sell it cheaper, like most of their lines
Not taking anything away from OP, as I bought one and think it is a nice set.0 -

it doesnt matter what Amazon sells it at,the manufacturer sets the RRP
like any online purchase,a canny buyer would be comparing sellers regardless RRP/savings0 -
