Douwe Egberts coffee was 100g now 95g
was in Mr T's today to buy a jar of Douwe Egberts Brazilian Samba with my MOC and noticed the old 100g jar size has been reduced to 95g a 5% reduction! it looks like this is all Douwe Egberts instant coffees. the large are reduced from 200g to 190g as well.

Yes, Douwe Egberts have decided to play the Great Shrinking Food game.
They have also introduced a new range of ground coffee. They come neither in the 'traditional' 227g (4oz), nor the continental 250g pack sizes, but weigh in at a mere 200g.

Yes but Tesco's advert outside their store gives the offer price as being on a 200g jar!!!Ellie :cool:

Only noticed this today in Asda despite the SEL stating that the jars contained 200g when infact the jars only had 190g. Thats a 5% reduction in product although the jars seem to be heavier in weight.
I was so miffed I chose another brand instead and stuck a post on the Douwe Egberts FB page.0
