Graduate Loans?

Options
I know nothing about financial services and loans so I am hoping for a bit of advice.

Basically I left university last year after completing a BSc and then an MSc so my credit card and current account overdraft tell the sorry tale. My combined credit card and overdraft liabilities is about £5k and the combined service charge is about £80/ month.

Jobs in the construction industry are few and far between because of the property slump but I've been offered a 6-month placement in Bath which may become permanent and will certainly give me valuable experience in building surveying to put on my CV should I be job-hunting in 6-months time. The job will only make me £7k over the 6-months so it is unlikely that I will pay back all of these debts whilst living in an expensive city such as Bath.

The point of this thread is to ask about graduate loans and such to help me move to Bath in the first place and to have enough initial cash flow to pay for the deposit and first month's rent which is likely to be costly.

Will I even qualify for a loan with my existing liabilities?

I see taking this job as an investment even though it won't pay well because I badly need the job experience and I'd love to live in Bath permanently if I can secure permanent work there.
