Hi,
my work currently allows me a small amount of money each day i am working away, for breakfast. All my colleagues have coffee and breakfast spending each day, I don't. I much prefer water and I never have eaten breakfast. I have asked work for a pay increase instead of breakfast but they said no. i am looking to save all this money up and maybe use it on Christmas or something, so i need something i can buy (top-up, collect, etc..) via the company credit card. Saving stamps kind of thing but available at BP garages?
any ideas much appreciated

Good idea in practice but....when you pay for it on company credit card what happens when the statement comes in? Do you put through an expense claim because it will appear on your statement and due to the new (2011) HMRC regulations you now need to submit both the credit card receipt and the itimised breakdown receipt. I have some experience in this area as my job was (am currently on mat leave) to come up with an expenses breakdown for the whole company complying with the HMRC rules. All companies must adhere to this....doesn't mean that they do though!Don't Throw Food Away Challenge January 2012 - £0.17 / £10
