It is what it says really. However I suppose with London showing increases it is giving the impression that falls throughout the rest of the England and Wales aren't as low as they actually are with some regions showing significant falls in prices.
I would actually like to see an average for the rest of the UK without London to see what the figure would be.

the dudes on the street can see the true picture. prices falling all around them. luckily man the vast majority of the dudes are immune from the pollution spouted by a few sockies on here.

If you take out London and the North East then it would look likes it’s would be somewhere between -0.2% and –3.4% so probably not that much more than the –1.3%0 -

London was about 17% of transactions in 2011. If London is stripped out of the figures then that -1.3% would look to be about -2%.0 -
1.8% increase in my borough. I'm happy with that - worst case scenario is that my flat has held its value.0

Where i live is down 29% since the peak price!:j
in no rush to buy though, as i know they will be falling further by the end of the year.:beer:0
