£20 Kurt Geiger giftcard free with GQ

Hi All, Just got the latest issue of GQ (March) and there's a Kurt Geiger gift card attached to it. I think it's £20 value and could be used online or instore on full price merchandise.
I don't know what the prices are like in there so don't know if it's any good.

this is £20 - There have things like purse at £20 - so would be free with the voucher.

Do the terms and condition state whether this can be used on anything i.e. any brand and can be used on sale items? I wonder if this can be used with the first purchase code?

You can find more at kurtgeiger. com / gq which is where you register the cards. Sorry I don't have more info - it's not somewhere I can afford to shop at so wasn't much bothered with them. The t+cs do say they can't be used on sale items.
Thanks for the info re.the purse lucerysmum. I was sent out two mags so got two giftcards. Both were with a £20 value. Wonder if I can use both together.

Usually these gift cards that come free with magazines, are not valid on sale products and sometimes they also come with minimum spend conditions (eg. £20 off when you spend £80 etc) but not always so I suppose checking the small print is the only way to find out for sure!!

Also, interestingly - although the majority of the cards are for £20 value, they have apparently made 10 of them worth £1000 at random - only way to find out is to register your card on their website at www.kurtgeiger.com/gq

Conditions of the offer. Interesting, nothing about using it to buy a gift card!

1.To use the advertised credit of £20.00, the card must be activated at https://www.kurtgeiger.com/GQ and your full details submitted.
2.All cards must be activated before Midnight on the 30th April 2012. Attempted activation will not be accepted after this date and the card will be void.
3.This card is redeemable on full price merchandise only at participating Kurt Geiger branches in the UK and online at https://www.kurtgeiger.com. This card may not be used in a Kurt Geiger concession.
4.The £20 put on this card by activation is a promotion therefore any refunds will be of the value of additional monies paid only. The £20.00 credit on the card is lost on redemption and will not be reimbursed.

These are the exact same terms and conditions of the £20 giftcards that got sent out with Elle magazine last year. Lots of people got caught out by using the free giftcard to purchase a regular giftcard and ended up forfeiting the free giftcards as they then changed the terms and conditions of the usage. I wouldn't advise doing this at all as I ended up losing out on £20

Is the March issue out in the shops now? I've just been to Sainsburys and they only have the February issue on the shelves!
