20 years old, overweight, no job and in debt.... It’s time to fight back!!!

So where to start? With my debt? With my weight that never goes up or down? My zero job prospects? Or maybe even my sometimes bleak and depressed outlook on the whole situation?
Well like any good story I better start at the beginning, then with all you guys help we can get into an entertaining middle and hopefully there will be a happy ending, did I say hopefully? I meant certainly!
So if you haven’t guessed, at this moment in time I’m not in the best possible position. I am overweight by about 2 stone, I owe around £3,250 on credit cards, have a Car on Finance where I pay £150 a month and the best part is that I don’t have a job! I have done some agency work but its little and far between.
Luckily for me my parents are financially okay, and have allowed me to stay at home for the time being free of charge. Also at this moment they are paying for my Car (£150 a month) my phone (£25 a month) and the minimums on my credit cards (Comes to about £100). I know some of you may be angered at this but I have been in no position to pay any of them, I broke my Jaw in October and was unable to do any agency work for 3 months! Without them I would be seriously up **** creek with no paddle, boat or swimming costume. And for that reason alone I will do everything in my power to pay them off in full in the future! But that may have to wait a few years!
And yes I could give you guys a long story how I have got myself into this mess but if I’m honest, but if I am honest, it just depress me to see the mistakes that I have made. I understand that you should learn from your mistakes but over the past 24 months I really haven’t and it really gets to me.
Anyway depressive part over and time for some action!!!
I want 2012 to be a really good year, I have been talking to my girlfriend about
moving out together and this is a big must for me this year, trying to get to it could prove to be potential nightmare!
Also I have always wanted my own business and this is something that I am currently trying to do as well as looking for a full time job. I have set up a website that offers products such as video games to customers at cheap prices. And would love to turn it into a success!( More on this later)
The Facts and Figues
Weight: 14.6 Stone
Money Owed (To Banks):
Barclaycard: £824.00 - limit is £800
NatWest: £2200.00 – limit is £2250
Capital One : £195.00 limit is £200
So the total that I owe is £3,250.00
The Plan
The Weight:
Start an exercise programme called P90X on Monday 6th February. I’m not start right away as I need one final check with the hospital before I can start serous exercise and luckily it’s this week! I tried this before and got a month in before it all fell apart. It is insane but does work!
The Job:
As a matter of urgency, I need to find myself a job; I would ideally like a job that is physically active as I do enjoy things like that! However I would be more than happy with an office Job!
The Money:
Okay so once I find a job that allows me to take home £900 a month after tax then I will break my monies down like this:
Wage: £900
NatWest Credit Card: £100
Barclaycard: £100
Capital one Card: £100 a month (then use the extra £100 when it’s paid off to pay off the NatWest and Barclaycard)
Car: £150
Phone: £25
Bank Account Fee: £25 (I know some of you frown upon this but have been a life saver for me in the past)
Rent: £100
That would leave me with £460 to live on and then pay off more on the cards and save for the future!
The Business
Yes like I said I am going to try and create successful business for myself! Now I know it will not be easy and do expect it to be very hard. I am going to be selling items such as video games through my own website. I can’t use eBay or Amazon as they have banned me, not sure why
and they have decided to never tell me!
I have already created an Ltd company with a business bank account and started trading, hopefully this month once I sell all the item that I have I will have made a tidy profit!!!
When it comes to money in the business, I plan on keeping all the money in there and paying myself a dividend a couple of times a year!
I will check with the Forum Mods and if allowed I will share my site with you guys in the future!
