Jury Duty

Hi,
I'm on benefits at the moment and was on jury duty a few months ago, I'm also singed to agency that once in a blue moon sends me out for cover work, during my jury duty I was sent a text asking if I was available for this agency to work for 3 days but this was during the jury service, I tried to contact the agency with the claim form but they did not respond, I missed out on £150 I would of got from the cover work would I be allowed to claim this? or should I stick with the £40 worth of travel and lunch money?
