Littlewoods Catalogue

I took out a Littlewoods Catalogue many many years ago, long before April 2007.
Whilst I don't have a balance on the catalogue itself, I have suffered late payments fees in the past.
For arguments sake, I have asked in writing for them to provide me with a true signed copy of my credit agreement, as I don't recall ever being given one, or signing one for that matter.
I have given them 12 days to comply under section 78 request.
If they cannot provide me with one as it was so long ago I opened the catalogue, I believe it was before 2000.
What type of letter should I send please if they dont comply which I dont feel they will be able to??
Thanks.

back with the silly questions I see, you need todo a subject access requestDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

If you want to look into reclaiming excessive late payments fees then you don't need the credit agreement.
You need to review your account to see what late payment fees were charged and then put in a claim to reclaim them - lots of instructions, simple step by step guides etc on the reclaiming credit card charges section of the forum, detailing what you should be able to reclaim etc.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks Trixy and chanz4.
Will follow advice and keep you posted ::++DDD0 -
Littlewoods dont need signed agreements, when I opened my littlewoods account around 4 years ago I had to sign a form, but my wife and her mother both applied online and got instantly accepted and never had to sign a thing.0

Rules changed after April 2007 with regards to online applications etc.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Tixy, I didn't take out Littlewoods online, and I took it out before 2000.
In fact, I am sure I took it out in late 1990 something, after I was approached by a canvasser in the street, I can remember filling out an application, not a credit agreement.
I have written to them asking for the CCA under section 78 as I was advised to by above.
However it should be interesting what they come back with as I opened the account so long ago now who knows??
Will keep you posted!!0 -

As the OP doesn't seem to like late payment fees presumably he/she is aware there is a blindingly obvious way to avoid them.0
