  • If the figures have been entered correctly, they will be! It only really gets difficult when tax credits come into play. Would you like us to check your figures?

no thanks just asking. What happens about factoring in dentist and prescription charges?

  • You would need to do that yourself, the calculation looks at benefits, not your individual outgoings. You may still qualify for help with healthcare costs either through an entitlement to WTC or through the HC1 form.
  • i did one but with school bus fairs, and free school dinners. prescriptions, council tax rent.dental charges,a minimum wage job would make me worse off ,

You will be better off for a year then the next year tax credits will take your last years earnings into account and reduce your working tax credits so you will be where you started at or possibly worse off. If you put down that you were offered a job at 25 hours instead and same amount of pay that will tell you how much better off you will be excluding the tax credits calculations. I consider working tax credits as a bonus and due to the number of incorrect calculations made and overpayments requested I just save it until I know for sure that it is mine to spend.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
