Debt agency letter from Netherlands

Hi
i have just picked up the post this morning and opened a letter addressed to me, Its from a debt agency in Netherlands they are stating that I owe a holiday company in Netherlands money....(I have never been on holiday to the Netherlands) I looked at the site of the people I supposedly owed the money to and remembered that last year I went on the site to request a quote to hire a caravan but never booked anything.
What do I do now?
They say I need to pay the debt by 9.2.12
I cant believe this...we are just hauling ourselves out of debt as it is and we are getting married in August. We cannot afford to be paying debts that aren't ours!!
I have tried to ring the company but they are ringing off the hook.
So upset by this!!

I just got a similar letter and I never officially booked anything either!? I'm in the U.S., and I can't figure out if I should just ignore this because it seems ridiculous or really worry about it. Thoughts?0
