Amy, I didnt see your post in time, to see your suggestions, the chap who we met seemed wo be 'with it' but only time will tell.
Apparently though we wont have to go back for another meeting, if the offer is made we can do the rest by post... yay.

I have recieved today a letter from HSBC headed 'Offer Document'
It says: "We are pleased to enclose the offer document for your loan application"
Does this mean that as long as all paperwork is signed etc, and nothing untowards surfaces (which I am not expecting) that they have accepted our request for a mortgage with them?
