Sole Trader non regulatory contracts

Not sure if anyone can help but I am a sole trader and I am 18 months into a card processing contract with Payment Sense. I have found a cheaper company and want to terminate my contract with Payment Sense before the 24 months and the new company have advised me that as a sole trader I can terminate the contract as I am 18 months into it and it is a non regulatory contract that I have. Can anyone confirm if this is correct or not before I tie myself in with the new company and have to pay to get out of the contract with Payment Sense

I think you would be better putting this in the Small Biz & Charity Organisers MoneySaving section. There is quite a bit of discussion about card payment systems there.0

It might be worth mentioning this to your current provider: they might give you a better deal.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
