Help with letters to creditors

I am at present managing to make the monthly payments to my debts, just! But I was looking at writing to my creditors to see if any way they can reduce the interest to assist me as I might be losing my job in the next year and am thinking ahead - anyone point me in right direction to what to say?

have you tried the National Debtline website - they have template letters for lots of debt matters on there.
