enjoy the holiday because 50k invested in an annuity would have given you around another £40 a week pension for life0 -
£40 a week aint a massive amount of money - and to "recover" the £50K would take nearly 25 years!
There are better ways of making at least some money and keeping your original pot. A high interest account - say 3% would get £28 a week.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
