Hi, I wonder if you will settle a 'discussion' re cleaning a shower, I say spray and then wipe/dry off, my friend says she uses a scourer & cream cleaner. I thought that scratched the glass?
Also what do you think of the clothes you use for the bathroom with just wetting them, would they really clean without any cleaning stuff on them?
Thanks

Y depends on how hard your water is. Last place i lived the clear class shower screen suffered terrible build up of limescale, every drop became a little white ghost of itself, even after a watersoftener was added. Scrubbing was the only way.
I do not have a shower atm, but i have a daily bathroom ritual of wiping around when finished with a facecloth i have used...i use a clean facecloth each day. Then weekly i use a microfibre cloth. I really, really like bathroom mousse. It is far from moneysaving, but it is very effective. I use this on bath, sink and tiles, then either a vinegar mix or flash liquid on the floors, coboard doors, woodwork etc once a week or so.0 -
If you have silicone in the area then cream cleaners are bad news I'm afraid as they strip away the waterproofing, makes it brittle and has to be replaced.
I tend to use a mixture of vinegar and water in a spray bottle and then - as before - using a microfibre cloth clean it all over and that pretty much does it for me!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

I use my trusty vinegar spray ( third vinegar, good squeeze of washingup liqid and topped up with water), I spray the the bath/ shower first, then sink and toilet, I wipe the shower, tiles and bath top to bottom with micro fibre cloth then rinse, and wipe top of bath and taps then carry on with sink, wipe dry the taps. the toilet is done with a different cloth ( dark blue cloth). same with shower door spray rinse wipe with microfibre damp cloth. it always smell really clean after 20 min and is really shiny. :j i do this in the kitchen too ( got a shiny worktop) the vinegar always removes the soap and water deposits, no scrubbing or buffing, just wipe with a slightly damp microfibre cloth0
