I think we're all (me included ) a little delayed with the 'January blues' this year. We all seamt quite upbeat last month and now this month we all seem really down in the dumps and like everything is getting on top of us. It's quite strange as although it's online, I feel in a way like we are all friends it's the only thread I've ever been on that offers nothing but support and I feel lucky to be a part of it
So I sort of feel the need to try and give us a shake up and a pat on the back and say - come on lasses we can do it. Does anyone want to join me in a verse of "things can only get better" ?

i agree completely that the support and friendship on this thread is rather unique - it feels like being part of a community where if you feel a bit off colour everyone turns up with soup :D:rotfl::rotfl: oh and songs sweet :rotfl::rotfl:

it has been a difficult month for lots of us in one way or another but we all seem to be 'getting there' spring is on its way, lighter nights are starting to show themselves and ....... thingssssss can onlyyyy get beeeetterrrrr why?

Cos we get byyyyyyy with a little help from our friendsssssss,

Well the singing seemed to work last time as shortly after people started getting some luck on the Bingo, and various claims etc that got sorted.
And there's been even more singing this time - so which one of us is going to win the lottery?!?

Had £20 reach the bank today from some audit work. Think this just about keeps me ahead of target so far.
No bids on Ebay yet

We once had our car die in the week before we were going to Ireland on our honeymoon. Someone posted £500 through our door with a note to say it was for a new car. Still don't know who but I was very grateful. :A
