though not just so attractive when you realise its not a ticket for yourself you 'earn' and you would share any winnings with about 50 or 100 other people, i can't remember the numbers now :rotfl:

I so didnt read that bit! But the 50p is all MINE!

I've just signed up to xbingo. Played my £10 and working through the £35 free credit. I really hope the cash back comes through though :)

And I have won a fair few times, around £30 in total. But I can't get the £20 needed in the balance to cash out... I suppose that's the hook isn't it :rotfl:

Will only be spending the free stuff though I can assure you all x

  • Personally i think the christmas saver could not be anymore straight forward. You get your points once a year in November. Nice to get in time for chirstmas. And you can top up at the checkout so it acts as a savings card too. Well done on re-claiming your old vouchers tho. :D

It was the topping up thing that threw me to be honest, rather than the saving up points. Me and Mr Tesco are obviously just not a match made in heaven when it comes to understanding!:rotfl:

As you can use several vouchers at a time when using them in store, you are still building them up, just in voucher form rather than 'on your card' in the way you do with Nectar.

I wouldn't usually advise using them in store though as they are worth much more with rewards. I know you are using them on dry cleaning this time, which is fab as you would have spent out on it anyway, but also just so you know in future, if there was nothing you wanted, still don't spend them in store as they will sell for much more than their face value on Ebay (most people just say for the winning bidder to contact them and let them know what rewards they want them to get and send them as reward tokens not as the actual vouchers).
    HTH

Thanks Monkeynut, that was really helpful. I didn't want to use them in store as I knew they were worth less but there was nothing I wanted to spend them on reward-wise but then I spotted Johnson's (and I have a tonne of dry cleaning to do) - whoop! I considered Ebay but wasn't sure it was possible as I didn't think they were transferable. I see what you mean about getting tokens for the winning bidder but I don't think that works with everything... I have a second job at Blockbusters and the Tesco vouchers you get have your name printed on them so can only be used on that rental account. Thought that was worth mentioning for anyone flogging Tesco vouchers on Ebay...

  • Hi folks,

Well, hubby came home from nights with a whole domino's pizza! They had a birthday party and someone provided pizzas. No one wanted last few slices from each box, so ever-resourceful, my hubby nabbed them! So we have had a nice reheated takaway tea. Counting that for £7 and had 2 herbal essences free with litmus test vouchers (£4) so in total, I have counted £11!

Tried contacting companies for free vouchers but was told to get knotted politely! Got some stuff on ebay, so hope that reaps a few quid!

    SFG x

Did I read the first page correctly? Do you peeps include money saved in the shops eg whoopsie stickered items? Also I just moved to a 0% CC for 22 months so that should save me loads - would you count that?

when we say money saved, we mean if you use coupons/vouchers, etc and you transfer the money you saved to debt/savings/etc, then yes include it.

a little, bones don't hurt with the cold anymore, but now have sore throat.

I have to be better tomorrow, as will have DS in the afternoon.

Have 5 MS jobs booked for next wed, but they made a mistake as I asked to book 2 on one day, another 2 on another day, and one on thursday. I can do 4 in one day, but not the 5th! Will email them tomorrow and ask them to change it.

I got my MS jobs through, yes, thank you! Still not received my £15 JL vouchers though.
