  • Used card town to order a valentines card for hubby - should have been £3.50 but I would not have spent that so will count the £1.50 I usually end up paying. Got all his valentines stuff for our £10 budget! Not bad for 2 DVDs, a book and a card! Lucky man :rotfl:

    Hi all,

It's proper snowing here, 'posed to be delivering AVON but not really wanting to venture out in this. Will see if it calms down later.

Thanks for the heads up re hattongardenmetals for gold will have a little look. I also have a few bits that I'm not actually sure are solid gold is it worth sending them in just in case they are or is it more likely to cause probs?

My ebid stuff doesn't seem to be attracting much attention may just wait for a free listing on ebay if no joy this time.

I see that some of you are declaring vouchers as you use them rather than when you get them so think I'll do that (just to get me off the mark really ;)) so £25 B&Q voucher used. Also paid in £3 worth of copper so am counting that too. During my big move about (of furniture) yesterday I've unearthed some CD's that I may put on music magpie.

Spoke to father earlier, vented my frustrations regarding my siblings and he agrees they should at least throw something my way even if its just a thank you gesture. They dont speak to Dad so I want trying to get him to tell them, but when I said I was really upset that I wont be able to do something special for my daughter he went really quiet. Again I wasnt fishing or trying to get him to help, he's really hard up himself, its just nice to talk to someone. I logged onto my online banking and whilst I was on the phone he's put £50 into my account and sent an email saying 'I wont let my grand children go short, Love Dad' Brought a tear to my eye! I feel like I should add it but Im quite a proud person and want to pay it back when I can, so I wont. Just wanted to let you guys know, not all my family are rubbish! :D
