Bit disappointed - sold 8 items on evilbay last weekend, just totalled up the profits after all the fees and postage and barely made £20. Trying to look on the bright side that it's £20 I didn't have before and a bit more clutter gone but whenI think of all the effort in photographing and listing....
Anyway, also made £10 via DS - he got a new PS vita yesterday which came with a free £25 morrisons voucher which he didn't want so I gave him £15 for it.
Also received £10 Love2shop voucher from npower for going to paperless statements, and got an amazon sale to post today - might not quite reach my target but will try to get as near as possible....relisted another 22 items on evilbay today so fingers crossed!GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

Just coming on for a moan really. Bought some burgers from Iceland (£2 for 8) and i must say they are awful! I will not be buying them again. Also had a packet of Icelands "Luxuary Shortbread Fingers", opened them to try, they don't even have any sugar on! I used to be a big fan of iceland, but i think the quality of their products has gone down in the last 12 month. I still get my bread, milk, pre-packed meats there simply because its loads cheaper than Mr T's next door.....
Anyway, rant over i suppose.
Think i'll do some surveys now... Sorry for going off topic. But my kids just look at me like i'm nuts if i tell them,Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Threads quiet today, hope everyone is ebaying
Im so p'd off at the minute because DH has literally done mothing all day other than sit at the computer downloading music. We've not been getting on right for months and months but every now and again he seems to have a really nasty couple of days where he just drags me down constantly and makes me feel like crap. Hes saying stuff like get over
yourself and just get the housework done im not helping you and thats it, thats just how it will always be so get over it. This morning i was moaning about our 's' life (or lack of) and i got told well why would i want to have it with you look at the state of you. ive just said to him i dont want much and dont ask for much just a husband that cares, to be told well F off and marry someone else then.
Im so down i could just walk out and not look back. If it wasnt for the fact the kids are sat playing in their rooms i might have done so already.
sorry for coming on with a completely off topic rant and bringing the tone of the thread down again0 -
Aww Sweets. Sorry to say this but your husband sounds like a right ar*eho*e! He should not be putting you don't like that. My ex used to put me down loads, he also used to give me a bash-a-bout whenever he fancied it and i can honestly say that the emotional side of things is my worse than being hit (just my opinion). Have you both sat down and had a talk? Or is he not prepared to do so? And why should it be left to you to do all the housework while he is sat on his backside playing on the computer. Really easy of me to say, but if you not happy then you need to deal with it, and only you can deal with it. Its all easy for me and anyone else on here to say "get shot of him, kick him to the kerb, blah blah blah", but only you know if its really worth saving or if you want to save it.
How old are your kids? I'm gonna preach now (sorry) and say you shouldn't stay together for the sake of the kids. I'm sure they would much rather be in a house with a happy mam rather than a house where they witness arguments all the time, especially if its been going on for a few months. I know some people say they don't argue in front of their kids, but believe me they aren't stupid and they will be able to pick up on things.
Anyway...i hope my post does not come across as a lecture, that is not what its ment to be. If you need to chat you can PM me. Don't let him get you down. Big hugs xxxxxxxxxxSlimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Sweets that's horrible that he's said that to you. All of it. You should kick him out, not feel you have to leave yourself.
Why wont he help you with the housework? Surely it's his house too! And his mess! Sounds like he needs a good kick up the backside if I'm honest.
And you should tell him he's lucky you'd even consider going anywhere near him with an ugly attitude like that!
Sorry can't give much in the way of advice but it really doesn't sound like he deserves you or the children. xxDeposit £5880/£10,000Sparkle Challenge - Loose 1 stone 0/14lbs

Oh, Sweets!

How awful of your 'H' (he doesn't deserve his D today!).
Have you got wine? I think you deserve it after the day you've had. And if you haven't got any in, maybe getting out of the house for an hour to go and buy some would help too. I've been in that situation many times in the past, and sometimes it does help to escape it for a while (even if it is just browsing the aisles at Tesco, lol).
I have to agree with CP, don't stay with him for the kids. I'm not suggesting that you should leave him, but please don't feel tied to him if it is only for the kids' sake, as sometimes they really can be better off when their parents aren't together - my DS1 certainly is.0 -
Good luck Sweets. I really feel for you
. My childhood had a mum n dad that stayed to gether for the kid (me) and I spent all my life hating them for it. Drunken fights and rows etc...It has made me a terribly miserable adult! Please think carefully and weigh up the odds. I think daily of leaving but do not as we are much better off and good days make it worthwhile. That said I would give him a piece of my mind if I were in your shoes. You are worth so much more please dont let the gitbag drag you down. Hugs. C x
On a different topic I got my cheque today for £49.86 from a cash gold site today (based on carat and weight I expected nearer £200 so feel fleeced! I do get £35 cashback through Quidco - but they are very slow at the moment at paying out!) Still money is money. I also got £12.74 from ebay today. I have listings ending tonight so fingers crossed they all are ok and make me rich...
I now am up to a very healthy £611.67...now I am trying for a personal mini challenge of £700 by the end of the feb month as it never seems enough no matter what!!!
Good luck this weekend everyone.
