  • Thank you Monkeynuts, your suggestion worked. I decided to do it straight away rather than wait until tomorrow - deposited £10, giving me over £30 to withdraw and then it let me withdraw £30 straight away. Just got to wait 3-5 days now - but that'll be £20 of pure profit :)

Oh I annoyed with South West Water, im paying £42.50 a month when theres only me and 2 children. I rang up to lower my bill a few months ago(back then it was £60!) and was told that was the lowest it could go. Im on a meter and my account is £62 in credit after this billing period, bills are bi-monthly. I've rang them again this morning and even through im in credit they still wont lower it! They'll refund the amount but thats not the point, I dont want to struggle to get the amount together every month. This is one of the downsides of living in the Westcountry. :(

Tell them you want to go onto a payment card Nat. And see what they say. If then send you one, you can make weekly payments on it, that should help and what is your actual usage each month? does it go up and down?

I rang them again, the guy actually did calculations on my usage and he said Im using less than the average for 1 single person! So managed to get it down by another £10 a month, saving £120 a year, cant be bad! If I did the payment card they charge you a fortune, you get so many benefits by doing DD, think I even get 10% off my bill at the end of the year.

  • Morning all (well just about!)

Well, haven't made much actual liquid cash this month. Its all pending, so not counting it yet.

    BUT:

Did extra work yesterday (at work) £48
Signed up for 2 mystery shops £8.50 plus £13.75 in free food
Listed 2 items on ebay this morning.

Good luck all. Going to try and sign up to fab bingo this eve if I get a quiet time to myself so I can concentrate!!!!

    SFG x
