Does anyone still use the cream to powder foundations? I used to use them years ago and thought they were great but they started to feel heavy on my skin, is the forumla still the same these days?

I used to use Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish a few years ago. it gives the best coverage I've ever managed and it used to be discounted in TJ Hughes (RIP
). However I agree it does feel heavier on the skin, especially compared to the new generation of foundations. I currently use YSL Perfect Touch, which I really like, however contemplating the Flawless Finish again for evening wear. Despite spending ages applying my various layers of serums, primers, foundation and so on before a big do, the photographs after the event always look like I'm not wearing any!
EDIT TO ADD Sorry, I just read the title "Compact foundations." ......not really sure about cream to powder finish ones. I don't think Flawless Finish is one of those.0 -
i think avon still do some and revlon too. i prefer to use one on my chest & back (still some acne scars left), as it's easier to apply foundation without it slopping about everywhere and is denser than applying powder.0
