Best for Frozen Food?

Hi, I've just got myself another chest freezer and wanted to start to stock it up a bit before Baby Barters arrival and just wondered what supermarket would be cheaper for this? Are Iceland and Farm Foods worth bothering with or is it just as cheap to stick with the likes of Mr A or Mr T's?
Thank you all

I usually get my frozen veg from Asda, I always am stocked with their mixed peppers, mushrooms, parsnips and a really tasty mix of Oriental veg. Their potato products are good value and brand-quality too (I get chips, wedges and croquets). I go to Tesco for pizzas and frozen desserts.
I go to Heron Foods (not sure if they're nationwide or just local) but they do good offers on brand named things.0 -
Asda offers 1kg Spinach for 1GBP frozen, better than Iceland and the rest.0

Personally after working for iceland and doing farmfoods prefer farmfoods
However in farmfoods only thing I buy farmfoods branded is frozen veg as somes 3 for 2 and better weight than iceland.
If its chicken or fish I prefer birdeye or youngs only which they stock.
chips hubby prefers mcain
icecream get cheap branded in there.
Then i get odd frozen offers in morrisions, sainsburys or tesco as they have odd frozen offers.

If it were me I would buy as follows:
Iceland
Chips, pies, sausages, fish fingers, pizza
Tesco/Sainsburys (we don't have Asda, Morrisons or Farm Foods)
Peas, Meat *
Aldi
Meat, ice cream
Local butchers
Mince beef (normally on offer better than supermarket)
I was buying frozen from Tesco and Aldi but have had a recent switch to Iceland as I've realised actually how cheap they are. If you're also stocking up make sure you get lots of tea bags! I am on maternity leave and go through buckets of them, I also found porridge great to stock up on. I'd pop a bowl of porridge and milk in the fridge the night before wrapped in cling film and then the next morning just pop in the microwave, meat I got to eat in the first few weeks!
* Re the meat in Tesco/Sainsburys etc, look out for yellow stickers so that you don't overspend, so easy to do that on those 3 for £10 but realistically you don't need to spend anywhere near that much!!Don't Throw Food Away Challenge January 2012 - £0.17 / £10
Grocery Challenge 16th Jan - 19th Feb 2012 - £254.72/£200 (Ooops very bad start)
Grocery Challenge 20th Feb - 8th March 2012 - £0/£2000 -

Also mainly in the North of England is Fulton Foods. Good for ice cream and frozen desserts. Also veg/chips etc. A lot of their meat/fish products are brands you may not recognise but they do get Birds Eye/Youngs as well. Worth a look if you have a branch near you. I have to say, in these hard times, my local branch is one of the busiest shops in the town centre!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Waitrose
Unusual frozen veg that you won't find elsewhere, veal mince (when on special offer)
ASDA
Don't buy the ASDA frozen salmon fillets in the bag unless you like bones. ADSA Smartprice turkey drumsticks for stock or roasting and using in sandwiches
Iceland
The frozen mince looks extruded rather than minced and falls apart into small grains. The fish fillets are good value. Like the sweetcorn.
Farm Foods
Tried the peas eww, ended up as pea and mint soup
Sainsbury's
Have seemingly had offers on poussins, quail etc quite often and their game can be cheaper than buying it from a farm. Got a whole salmon for £14.27 in December and had the fishmonger steak it upfor the freezer - bargain - responsibly sourced Scottish salmon too.
Morrisons
Went in here for first time recently got two whole sea bass for £4 (50% off) to stuff in freezer and packs of langoustines for £3 each. So far fish & seafood has been very good.
Lidl
Like the Nasi Goreng and the calamari, stuff their Norwegian smoked salmon in the freezer, bought the lobsters at Christmas (very good). Not tried their frozen veg as the fresh veg is so good.
Spar
Love their frozen petit pois !0
