    Don't waste your time complaining as you have zero chance of winning - take a step back and try to see how bizarre your complaint is.

    If this is a simple minimum loan problem, can't you borrow the £5k minimum, then repay the £3k you don't need on the day you complete?

    If your complaint is that Lloyds TSB will not lend you £2,000 as an additional loan on the mortgage, then the FOS cannot uphold it.

    They cannnot and do not tell banks and building societies what their lending criteria should be.

    I am arguing with the Lloyds TSB over £2,000 that they feel they cannot lend me on my mortgage. But they are more than happy to lend/throw a credit card at me for over £5,000.

    Go to another lender. You've no grounds for complaint.
