  • :D yes have used it for years now...it is 100% free....much better than outlook express -have a look, think if you go for gold etc you have to pay but i never have and ive never had a problem, in fact i know quite a few who use it
  • i've used this for years too,its sound. and the free screen saver site magentic( part of incredimail)
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.
  • I used it once and removed it, one of my mates said dont use it because of spyware and virus. If you want a free email program then download Windows Live Mail Desktop.
  • I have also used this for a long time. I don't think it is worthpaying for the gold section. You don't get much more than with the free service. it makes e-mails much more interesting.

Surfing the net on it, there are many accusations of it being spyware.

On the virus front, it presumably includes attachments, and other stuff to get the graphics over. Some virus checkers may find this suspect. Many people because of the risks that it could be a virus don't like additional graphics in email.

Googlemail is excellent if you are on broadband (though again there are concerns with Google's privacy policy. Thunderbird is great, but neither do the graphics stuff that incredimail does.
  • yes its full of spyware that had tracking cookies, and its hard to get total;ly rid of once uninstalled as it still leaves traces

While not strictly nasty spyware it does collect usome user info but the biggest problem is that if you send a company an email using incredimail its most likely the email will be deleted on the server meaning the recipient will never get it, thats because AV programs used in business can see animations as intrusive just like some adverts and may contain potential harmful integrated rubbish.
