Hi all this is the first time I have posted anything on here but, I have been reading the post`s from the rest of you for several week`s and, I would just like to say that thank`s to you lot out there I have started to get thing`s sorted out. I have been on cccs website and completed the forms and they have offered me DMP at £38 per month. I only hope it all goes well when the creditors are contacted but, we will see.

Hi Sea just a quick question did it go pretty smoothly when you were trying to get it set up? I really don`t want my husband getting more stressed out about this as I have managed to keep him quite calm up to now.
When it was all added up and I realised how much we actually owed it was frightening. Our circumstances had changed in a way so that we have £900less each month coming in that was the final straw for me.
It was hard paying things without the loss of the other money. Still waiting to hear further from cccs. I would have gone for bankruptcy but, we live in private rented accomdation and it`s in our tenancy agreement if we are declared bankrupt we lose our right to stay in the house. Jacqui

Well done on dealing with your debt. Don't feel too deflated when some of your creditors initially refuse your payment proposals. This is perfectly normal & most of us have been through it. Just stick to your guns & don't offer more than you can afford. Eventually, they usually come around & most creditors seem to respect CCCS.
