Reduced, and potentially free, Compost at B&Q

Options
My local B&Q (and I am told others too) are selling off loads of compost to make way for new lines. All split bags, regardless of size are 50 each.

However if you buy the B&Q own brand 60 litre bags, they are still discounting at the tills as the deal originally was 3 bags for £10 - a saving of £1.50 off the normal price...so 3 split bags should be £1.50, but with the multi buy discount they are scanning as free!!

Limited stocks so get them while you can!:j

    I've been Money Tipped!
The split bags were £2.50 in my local B&Q today.
They had alpines reduced to 50p each and each two bought also gave the multi-buy offer (96p off), so two alpines for 4p.
Other plants as well, some not worth buying though.

Well no split bags in my local B&Q but bought 10 bags of seed potatoes for 50p each! They were priced at 2 for £6.

I was in my local B&Q today browsing round the garden bit but there was no sign of any split bags of compost. Must be very hit and miss so I think you just got lucky OP.

Guess it depends how clumsy with the bags each store has been!
