N&P 10 yr fix - income multiples ?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of the income multipliers for the norwich and Peterborough BS. I can't find anything on the website and they are closed for the weekend.

I quite like the look of the 3.99 10 year deal, we have an income of £40,500 and an outstanding mortgage of about £148,500 with no debts. Has anyone applied for this deal ?

Thanks :D

    Its done on affordability.

If you have no debts, no HP, CC, loans maintenance etc etc you should be fine based on the affordability as its about 3.75x on those figures you have given.

If you do then it would depend on those amounts.

Is this available via a broker?

    No its direct only.
There are cheaper options available just not tied in for 10 years.

Ok thanks, I like the look of the deal but I also like going with a broker. Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread.

I was interested in this mortgage but when I rang up they were quite fussy. Especially with me being self employed. As I have only been S.E for 2 years they wouldn't accept the income as they expect 3yrs of accounts to be taken into account. So blankly refused to accept the income only my salaried job which wouldn't be enough.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I guess the only way to know for sure is to ask them! Phil3822 do you mind me asking why you prefer using a broker? Just being nosey but I have never used one in the past, is there a benefit even if you know which deal you want to go for?

I like this mortgage too. If you go on their website you can use the how much can I borrow calculater. I was wondering how long their AIPs last?

Ybs have a 10 year fix at 4.19% if anyone can't get this one.

Hi, I have searched thoroughly (I think!) and can't find a how much you can borrow calculator, could you point me in the right direction please.

Sorry looks like I was mistaken! I must have been looking on another site. Might have been the ybs one. Looks like they do it on an individual basis.
