Thanks OP. Even though I'm not eating stuff like that myself at the moment, it's still useful to tell friends about.

Shame a few people on here don't have the attitiude of 'If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all'
No need for criticisms, when someone has taken the time to post.

For the person who thinks eating a free doughnut is going to make you obese you really need to get out more

I am not on facebook nor twitter and I would expect to see the deal if it is posted here. Otherwise, dont bother to post.

I'm sure this deal wasn't posted especially for you! Your post was of no help to anybody so why don't you not post

Doughnuts don't make you fat, I've eaten them for a couple of decades and I'm size 8-10, closer the 8 still in middle age, but the Greggs/baby/bus quip was not only funny but true.

Greggs ...i like their brown rolls:) i swear to god everytime i get on a bus there is some dumb mum ignoring her little cold looking baby(while she is texting) who is sat in a buggy eating a Greggs sausage roll out of the bag...fab weaning food ....they never eat them from Stephens/baynes or any other baker eh its always Greggs

Grrh I opened this thread to read about the deal, not read all this!

Sorry lors71 but I have to speak out. That comment is sooo wrong and sooo stereotyping of people. I take it you don't have any young children?

We don't take our toddler into town shopping very often but when we do we make it a nice time, and she usually gets a treat (particularly if she hasn't kicked off for being stuck in her buggy or on a harness for an hour or two). Sometimes it's cocktail sausages or some Babybel, maybe some white chocolate buttons... occasionally we'll get a treat from Greggs and of course, she gets something too. None of those things are perhaps the most nutritionally perfect foods for toddlers but they can all be part of a balanced diet in moderation.

I'm going to feel incredibly conscious that there are some people out to wrongly judge us next time we're sat on a bench tucking in. Please don't tar all parents with the same brush just because they give their toddler a sausage roll/sandwich/pastry when out!!!!

I'm so sorry the above posters haven't read Forum Manager's thread here ...

It would certainly help if they read it now before making further posts :)

get a grip....i have young kids and older kids....all fed a varied diet including the odd "junk food mcdonalds etc".......before you go getting yourself in a state i suggest you re read it and see the words i typed were BABIES(clue was in weaning food duh) ....i see loads of babies stuck in buggies being ignored by mums texting on phones while munching greggs sausage rolls,on buses daily.........now if you feel that description fits you then enough said ....am assuming you dont think its acceptable for a BABY to eat a full sized greggs sausage roll out of a bag do you??????read comments before you feel you need to justify to strangers your shopping regime eh

Just noticed this thread has been moved to the competitions board but please be aware that if you receive a doughnut voucher then it is a BOGOF voucher according to FB site so there is a spend involved.

    Just so everyone is aware.
