SVR and overpayments

Hi, I tried to look for an answer for my question in the internet but without any luck. Here it is.. My 5yr fixed comes to its end in April. I'm with HSBC and allowed up to 20% overpayments.
After the fixed term ends can I make overpayments greater then 20% when on SVR without penalties? I cannot find it in the contract what happens after fixed term expires.
Any help, please...:j

Check your paperwork but usually when you are out of fixed period you can make as many overpayments as you like. Could be an overhang period but more likely not to beI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
