Complete with 26 rounds of fried bread & toast!

A fried breakfast served in Norfolk that promotes itself for being the weight of a small child has been condemned for its health risks.

The Kidz Breakfast at Jesters Diner in Great Yarmouth is claimed to weigh 9lb (4.08 kg) and includes 12 rashers of bacon, 12 sausages and six eggs.

The local HeartCare Cardiac Support Group said finishing the meal would "absolutely ruin your heart".

Diner owner Martin Smith said the breakfast was "just a bit of fun".

The "Jesters Challenge", at the cafe on Morton Peto Road, invites contestants to eat the breakfast in 60 minutes, with no additional help, to get it free of charge.

Its price if you fail is £15.

The breakfast is served on a plate covering 2.5 sq ft (0.23 sq m).

Eh? What, completely and permanently? But if you didn't finish it and, say, left a sausage, would you be OK?

Constructive comment from a responsible health group would have been useful, but this sort of exaggerated and inaccurate response is pointless.

Amazing, in the US they made the sucessful TV series "Man vs Food" based on these challenge meals.
In the UK we get the health police with pitchforks at the ready. :(
I live near the place they also mentioned in Westhougthon, and AFAIK no one has exploded yet. :p
    Waste of good food tho.

You could always go around to the market in Great Yarmouth afterwards and get some chips.:D just in case you weren't full enough after the breakfast.

I have never seen so many chippies in one place, or people and seagulls eating chips, in my entire life.:rotfl:

The place should be re-named Chipopilus or Chip city.

;) Felines are my favourite ;)
