HMRC Website - Online payment query

Hi, can anyone enlighten me as to how long the amount due on a self assessment account takes to update once payment has been made online? Thx!

Should be within 48hrs of the payment being received by HMRC. The payments are updated to the main SA accounting system overnight on the day of receipt. And then cut across to the separate SA online system either in the same Batch session - or the next one.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
