Please remember when owning one of these holiday homes there are costs involved though these can be covered if you let the property out. http://www.parkholidays.com/holiday-home-ownership/about-ownership/letting-income
The holiday home is an Willerby Magnum 28'x10' 2 bedroom or an alternative model chosen by Park Holidays UK of similar value. Closing date for entries is 30th September 2012. The first correct entry drawn will win a holiday home sited at a choice of three Park Holidays UK locations. The winner will be chosen during October 2012, and will be notified by post. Prize includes one year's site fees.
From the information on owning holiday homes:
In future years there will be various charges, most of which you will be familiar with from household bills.
Pitch fees
These vary depending on location. Typically they range from around £2000 upwards and average around £3000. Your pitch license agreement with us sets out the controls which limit future increases.
Rates and Water costs
Rates and water costs are billed separately from pitch fees, so need to be taken into consideration when buying a holiday home. Typical rates and water costs are around £250 per annum.
Gas and Electricity Charges
We invoice electricity based on individual meters for each Caravan Holiday Home - you will find usage charges are less than at home as we use our buying power and recharge at cost. Currently costs are around a third less per unit consumed than most people pay at home. Gas can be either cylinders or bulk LPG site - we monitor charges to ensure we offer good value for money plus a high level of service, but caravan owners are able to buy from wherever they like should they choose. Most owners budget around £300 a year for gas and electricity costs.
Insurance
Specialist Caravan Holiday Home insurance is important - each year we negotiate on your behalf so you can be offered the very best cover at affordable prices. Holiday Home owners are also free to buy suitable cover from other providers should they wish. Costs vary depending on the level of cover and are currently from £200 to £300 per year.
For full details contact the park of your choice who will be pleased to explain the likely running costs for any particular Caravan Holiday Home.

How strange. I haven't had a call, to the best of my knowledge.I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!
