I contacted all of my creditors on the 16th of the month and this is what we agreed. I am thinking of going on Payplan. Any advise would be helpful.

    Hi

Do you live with parents? Is the £80 what you pay in board?

What have you done so far? just contacted your creditors and asked what they would accept? And is that the amounts listed above?

Its really better to work out the total amount you can afford and then split that fairly between them based on the balance owed.
Eg proportianately vanquis is a much higher payment than many of the others. Very is getting a proportionately very small amount.

What is the situation with the 2 payday loans you have the full payment down for?
Have you set up a new bank account to have your wages paid into?

Have you spoken to any of the charities or payplan yet?

  • Hi Tixy,

Yes I do live with my parents and that is what I pay in board.

Ive contacted my creditors all with offers and this is what they have accepted. I was pushed much higher by Vanquis, the discussions went on for a few months. I offered 30.00 and they said they wouldnt accept less than 120, which I got them down to 75, same with Provident whi initially wanted 150.00.

All of the above are with Debt Collectors and that is who i contacted.

The QuickQuid payday loan is currently on a payment plan and I have paid £400 off. This is the last payment.

As for Wage Day Advance I pay 88 this month and 300 in February.

Yes, Ive opened a new bank account where I have no debts.

I havent yet spoken to anyone else.

On paper it's only February that you'll have a shortfall once Wage Day Advance has gone you should have enough to pay your minimum payments. The old phone contracts, have you sold the phones attached to them? There's a huge amount of catalogue debt - can you sell what was purchased them?
How did you end up with the debt? It can be useful to look at where it all went to help staying on track in the future?
