No longer working this tax year..tax rebate?

My daughter has finished her job today and has been paid to date. She is going travelling in India for the next 6 months(not working). There has been no tax refunded in her final pay. Can she request a refund on tax paid and, if so, when would this be paid? She leaves on the 6th Feb. Thanks
