See our News story: Warning - free skincare trials may be subscription trap
I would like help with a potential scam by a company called RL Skincare Ltd. I registered to receive a free skin care sample, however since then my credit card has been billed £69.95 per month - although no other products have been delivered. I cannot seem to find the original website, or any other contact details for this company. I have contacted my credit card company who are investigating, but I wanted to alert others to the potential scam of this business and find out if anyone else has more information I could provide the credit card company with.

If this is the case, it sounds like the scam featured in Rip Off Britain at the end of last year. Act quickly (contact your bank) or they'll keep sending the stuff and charge you for it- I think the woman to whom it had happened to on the programme was sent one each month....0 -

I too have been taken in and have written to the company (as there doesn't seem to be a telephone contact number) as advised by my bank I am awaitiing a response. If I don't get one then my bank will take proceedings0 -
This is the link that have ripped me off for £54.95 for a so called freebie where I expected a transaction of £5.95 for packaging.
This is advertised on the BT Yahoo homepage as well. You can cancel your subscription by email at info@ folowing by radialabs.co.uk.
Please beware of all these future deals where it seems to good to be true - it always is and I thought I would never be caught out.0 -
In reply to others I have just been scammed too. However, I was able to get a number to contact them to cancel - 0800 012 4256. It won't do you any good in getting your money back but you can cancel further payments. I am going to write to my newspaper so that others can be stopped from falling into the same trap. I will never order anything like this on the website again. lets make everyone aware and put them out of business.0

Thanks for the number Veggie31. I was in the same boat as Stevepaull and stupidly hadn't checked to see how much was being taken for a few months. I have just called it and was able to get my order cancelled and my money back - at least for the most recent order. I may have been lucky with who I spoke to but I went for the nice approach and it seemed to work. The fact I had already paid for a couple of months before that may have helped but I would certainly give it a try. I did also speak to my bank beforehand and the they said that if RL skincare refused to refund then they would look into refunding me instead.0
