Forgive me if I am being thick here but I went to the site and it says "enter your mobile number".
Options 1: Is this a pre-registration mechanism that we do BEFORE 9.00 on Friday? And then we get a link on the mobile to click on after 9.00 on Friday.
OR
Options 2: You enter the mobile number and click 'send' only after 9.00 on Friday?

It is really rather unclear.

I did option 1 and nothing happened. I had expected my mobile to show a new SMS. Even the web page did not return an error saying try again Friday or anything.

O2 customers can register at specific times (see deliverforengland.co.uk) for O2 rugby packs. Packs will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis once registration is open. You’ll be told immediately if you’ve been successful.
O2 rugby packs are subject to availability. The following quantities are available:
5’000 O2 rugby packs available for England v Scotland on 4 February 2012.
5’000 O2 rugby packs available for England v Italy on 11 February 2012.
5’000 O2 rugby packs available for England v Wales 25 February 2012.
5’000 O2 rugby packs available for England v France 11 March 2012.
5’000 O2 rugby packs available for England v Ireland 17 March 2012.
O2 reserves the right to alter the amount of O2 rugby packs available for each game at any time.

Prior to delivery Yodel will notify O2 customers by text of O2 rugby pack delivery arrangements. Customers will then have the opportunity to rearrange delivery if reasonably possible.
Delivery will be made to the address supplied on the order form. It will not be possible to amend this after the order has been confirmed.

it's England because O2 sponsor England. There is, though, no reason why you cannot register and get the free stuff even if you're not English. I did for the world cup breakfast campaign. Admittedly I didn't have much use for the England flag but the pies and beer were good!

If you're already set up with O2 priority, just log in on Friday morning at 9 and order your pies. The pre-registration is only for those who are not already members of priority.

Where will be the link for Rugby? Offers? It's not there yet.
