surely you believe a PWC has a responsibility to support their children financially either by working or by looking for work?
Clear, was this a reply to my message rather than empire? If so yes i certainly believe that pwc should work and support their children unless the pwcp is happy to do so.
Empire dont know why you quoted me your response has nothing to do with my message. i've never said nrp should just be cash cows. that wouldnt come from me my kids always had regular contact with their father despite him not paying for them but on ad hoc basis when my only resort is to threaten going to the csa.

no - was a response to Empire. I found it an odd response and just wanted his/her opinion on whether or not it is the responsibility of PWC to work and support their children (within reason, obviously).

It really is true that the CSA are run by monkeys.

My friend showed me the letter that they sent to her today with the assessment - she was told it was a nil award over the phone, and it's taken til yesterday to receive the letter.

Her surname is wrong - she's now married and has been for 2 years.

Her children's surnames are wrong - they changed 2 years ago.

It states that she receives Income Support and/or Pension Credit - she's 35 and last claimed IS in 2006.

She's decided that she's not going to bother anymore with this set of useless idiots, and will cease trying to get any maintenance from their father. :(

I've advised her to still keep the case open though, just in case she changes her mind in the future.

Had she told them about the name changes..? The Csa gets data such as names from a government database, if that hasn't been updated then it will still show whatever her name was when she opened the case.

Yes Prelude, she notified all Government departments when she changed her own and her children names.

    Like I said, a bunch a monkeys. :(
